Local 406 takes great pride in the training of it's membership. In doing so shop steward's attend an annual workshop put on by the local every April. Safety Committee members attend safety conferances held yearly. Several members have also attended labor law school. .Members receive other training on an ongoing basis making Local 406 a strong union.
